​The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmad Al Hanandeh, visited The University of Jordan- Aqaba (UJ Aqaba) and met with its President, Prof. Nazih Al-Batoush.

Visiting the School of Information Systems and Technology, Al Hanandeh and the accompanying delegation met the deans of the schools and some faculty members. He also toured the university’s facilities, meeting a number of the students during their lectures.

In his address to the students, Al Hanandeh outlined the Ministry’s plans and the projects intended to be completed during the current stage. He also answered a number of students’ inquiries that focused on job opportunities and market requirements.

He also pointed out to current stage priorities, directed towards developing skills and building the practical and scientific capabilities of students in information technology, through approving and holding training diplomas that are based on partnerships with international IT companies.
