University of Jordan and University of Tabuk Explore Academic and Training Cooperation

The University of Jordan(UJ) explored ways to expand academic and joint training cooperation and advance curriculum development with the University of Tabuk, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and promote the exchange of expertise across scientific and educational fields.

The visiting delegation from the University of Tabuk included Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Majid bin Salah Balala, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Daouri, and Dr. Mohammed Mansour Jalal, Advisor for Training Affairs and Vice Dean for Clinical Training at the Faculties of Applied Medical Sciences and Nursing.

The delegation met with Vice President for Scientific Schools Prof. Ashraf Abu Karaky, in the presence of Dean of the School of Nursing Prof. Areej Othman, Dean of the School of Rehabilitation Sciences Prof. Lara Al-Khlaifat, and Director of the International Affairs Unit Dr. Sameh Al-Zubiedi. Discussions focused on cooperation in training, student exchange, curriculum development and joint academic programmes, as well as collaboration in scientific research and faculty exchange.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, where they were briefed on the University’s experience in digitising educational content and the digital platforms supporting e-learning and blended learning. The delegation also reviewed modern instructional technologies designed to enhance interaction between students and faculty members and advance contemporary teaching practices.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised the University’s progress in digital transformation and expressed interest in building on the outcomes through effective academic, research and training partnerships that serve both sides.
