Based on a shared interest in developing applied university programs in the field of entrepreneurship and enhancing the ability of university graduates to establish startup companies, the University of Jordan (UJ) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AcceMind-FZCO to cooperate in designing and developing the national “Masar 700” entrepreneurship program.
The MoU, signed on behalf of the University by its President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, and on behalf of AcceMind by its Director, Dr. Usama Nouri, reflects UJ’s leadership in empowering graduates and building a sustainable national ecosystem for innovation and startups.
During the signing ceremony, Obeidat affirmed that the University continuously seeks to empower its students and graduates and open new horizons for them. He concluded that approach aligns with the requirements of the modern labor market and the Kingdom’s Economic Modernization Vision, noting that this partnership would enhance university research, teaching, and expertise in entrepreneurship, in addition to strengthening ties with the industrial sector.
For his part, Nouri expressed confidence in the capabilities and commitment of Jordanian graduates to drive a distinguished entrepreneurship ecosystem characterized by high economic quality and attractiveness to local and international investment. He conveyed AcceMind’s pride to collaborate with UJ on this program and achieve its objectives in a sustainable manner that positions Jordan as a hub for growth at both the regional and international levels.
The “Masar 700” program aims to select, nurture, and empower graduates to establish scalable and sustainable startup companies through a voluntary elite track that focuses on building practical skills in entrepreneurial thinking, prototype design, and innovative project development, based on objective admission and evaluation criteria and in line with the University’s approved regulations and policies.
