The University of Jordan (UJ) and An-Najah National University held a meeting to explore new prospects for joint research cooperation, bringing together a delegation from An-Najah with UJ Vice President for Accreditation, Global Rankings, and Sustainability Prof. Faleh Sawair.
The meeting provided a platform for a meaningful exchange on potential research partnerships, focusing on ways to deepen academic cooperation, enhance research productivity, and strengthen the overall quality of scholarly output. The delegation was also briefed on UJ’s experience with international rankings and the strategies it has adopted to raise its academic profile at regional and global levels.
Dean of Scientific Research at An-Najah National University Prof. Waleed Sweileh underscored the importance of fostering robust partnerships among Arab universities to advance higher education and scientific research.
Members of the An-Najah delegation expressed their appreciation for the progress UJ has made in research performance and international rankings, commending the university’s efforts to cultivate a dynamic academic environment and reinforce its global competitiveness.
