TEDxUniversityofJordan 2025 Convenes with Inspiring Ideas Under “Seen”

The University of Jordan (UJ) hosted TEDxUniversityofJordan 2025 under the theme “Seen,” celebrating creativity, bold ideas, and the power of visibility.

The event, organised by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (UJIEC), was held under the patronage of UJ President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, represented by the Vice President for Quality and Local Accreditation, Prof. Amira Masri. It featured inspiring entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators who shared transformative ideas across disciplines.

In her address, UJIEC Director Dr. Reem Al-Fayez stressed that innovation is a necessity in today’s fast-changing world, describing TEDxUniversityofJordan as a space where creativity thrives, daring questions matter more than perfect answers, and students’ potential is unleashed.

Founder and licensee of TEDxUniversityofJordan, student Razan Sayyahen, reflected on the platform’s journey, emphasising its role in amplifying voices and inspiring dreams. She thanked the student organising team, UJIEC, the university administration, partners, sponsors, and speakers for their contributions to the success of this year’s edition.

The event featured eight distinguished speakers sharing diverse and powerful stories, including Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), Nisreen Qatamish; Professor of Molecular, Cellular, and Cancer Biology, Mamoun Ahram; Media and Communications Specialist, Bayan Altal; Co-founder of Jobedu, Tamer Almasri; Taekwondo Athlete, Julyana Alsadeq; Founder and CEO of Dimensions, Mustafa Dabaibeh; Clinical Pharmacist and Clinical Psychologist, Manal Alkurdi; and Founder of Jonavigators, Ramzi Hanafieh.

The program also featured a musical performance and honoured sponsors, partners, and participants. TEDxUniversityofJordan 2025 provided a vibrant space where curiosity met creativity, leaving the audience inspired to see, listen, and act.
