​In a new achievement that reinforces the University of Jordan's (UJ) position in the academic landscape, the latest update from the AD Scientific Index 2024 indicates that UJ stands first among both official and private Jordanian universities, according to the Google Scholar citations index.

Within this tangible accomplishment, the University excelled in five out of the six adopted criteria in this ranking.

According to the adopted sub-indicators, UJ claimed the top spot in the total h-index criterion, measuring the comprehensive scientific impact of its researchers. It also led in the h-index for recent years, focusing on the scientific impact in the recent time frame.

Furthermore, UJ secured the leading position in the index for research with more than ten scientific citations in recent years. Additionally, the University achieved the first rank in the total citations, both overall and specifically in recent years.

These accomplishments reflect UJ's scientific and research excellence among local and international universities, highlighting the continuous dedication to achieving the highest standards of quality and distinction in the academic field.
