UJ Scholar Wins International Venus Foundation Award for Distinguished Researcher 2024

Yasmin Murad, a UJ Professor at the University of Jordan's (UJ) Civil Engineering Department, has been awarded the International Venus Foundation Award for Distinguished Researcher for the year 2024.
 
The award is presented by the Center for Advanced Research and Design (CARD) of the International Venus Foundation, based on the criteria of the international "Expert" and the global "Apex" organizations.
 
Murad earned the prestigious award for her outstanding research contributions in the field of civil engineering. She has published over 50 papers in the globally recognized databases (Scopus and Clarivate) with high citation rates. Her work places her among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to the Stanford University Scientists Rankings.
 
The award was presented to Murad during the Global Women's Forum organized by the Venus Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting women in academia and scientific research.
