UJ, University of Birmingham-Dubai Talk Exchange Programmes

​The University of Jordan (UJ) and the University of Birmingham-Dubai (UBD) on Tuesday discussed the possibility of developing academic cooperation in several fields.

During a meeting that brought together UJ Vice President for Scientific Schools, Prof. Ashraf Abu Karki, and UBD Provost David Sadler, and attended by Director of the International Affairs Unit, Prof. Hadeel Yaseen, talks highlighted  plans to enhance cooperation, including the exchange of faculty members, the establishment of joint academic and professional programmes, and the exchange of researchers and students.

Abu Karki emphasised the university's keenness to build collaborative relationships with various international educational institutions, especially prestigious ones like Birmingham University.

Yaeen said that the university received 40 students from various European universities this semester as part of the Erasmus Plus academic exchange programme.

The guest expressed the UBD’s keenness to build cooperation with UJ, pointing out that the university's branch in Dubai sees itself as a cooperative center for Birmingham University in the region.
