UJ, University of Leeds Sign Joint Academic and Research Collaboration Agreement

​The University of Jordan (UJ) signed an agreement with the University of Leeds that sets a framework for a long-term joint academic and research cooperation between the two universities.

The agreement, signed by the University's President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, and University of Leed's Interim Vice-Chancellor and President, Prof. Hai-Sui Yu, is based on the desire of both parties to expand their cooperative activities and achieve mutual benefits.

In this regard, Obeidat stated that this agreement comes as part of the UJ's efforts to enhance its cooperative relations with international universities to exchange experiences and collaborate in the field of scientific research, thus serving the interests of the university and enhancing its position among international higher education institutions.

Under the agreement, the two parties shall cooperate in establishing joint research projects and organizing joint academic events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and lectures, as well as on academic and research exchange programs.

Additionally, the proposed areas of cooperation include student exchange, exchange of publications, and academic materials of mutual interest, and in the field of sending students to complete their master's and doctoral studies at Leeds.
