The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, met Tuesday with US Ambassador to Jordan, Henry Wooster, on ways to enhance academic cooperation between the university and international US universities.
Obeidat expressed hope for further cooperation in areas of interest to the academic sector and elevating the educational system as a whole.
Ambassador Wooster lauded the deep-rooted Jordan-US ties, and that the United States continues to support Jordan in all economic, health, and educational fields.
He added that the Jordanian-American partnership is based on trust and mutual respect.
