UJ, MITHAQ Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

​The University of Jordan (UJ), represented by the Center for Documents, Manuscripts and Levant Studies, and the Center for Heritage Revival and Islamic Research (MITHAQ) in Jerusalem, signed a joint memorandum of cooperation to establish collaboration in the field of preservation and management of documents, manuscripts, and publications.

The MoC was signed by UJ Vice President for International Relations and Partnerships, Vice President for Humanities Schools, Prof. Nahid Omeish, and Dean of MITHAQ, Counselor Khalil Qaraja Al-Rifai with the authorization of the Palestinian Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Hatem Al-Bakri.

The memorandum's general objective is to revive and preserve Arab and Islamic heritage, and to recover, restore, digitize, publish and preserve the Palestinian archives and in particular manage the information and documentation.
