​Director of the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan (UJ), Prof. Zaid Eyadat, discussed on Tuesday with the academic representative of the Omani Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, Prof. Salem bin Saeed Al Kindi, aspects of joint cooperation.

The two sides discussed ways and mechanisms to build bridges of scientific and research cooperation, establish joint research projects, exchange experts and researchers, and exchange of scientific visits.

Briefing the delegate about the center's work and activities, Eyadat said the center ranks first in the MENA region according to annual global think tank index of the University of Pennsylvania.

Al Kindi stressed Academy's eagerness to build bridges of cooperation with counterpart centers, and benefit from CSS's expertise as a outstanding international think tank.
