The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced its cooperation with Google, within the framework of the National Council for Future Technology's initiatives, to provide all university and college students in Jordan with free access to the paid version of the advanced generative artificial intelligence tool, Google Gemini, for an entire year.

According to an official statement by the Ministry, students can benefit from the subscription through their personal Gmail accounts after verifying their student status. The initiative aims to enhance students’ skills and foster innovation, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, regarding the development of artificial intelligence in Jordan.

Students will have access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, which includes advanced features such as in-depth research capabilities, and the generation of text, image, and video content. The subscription also includes NotebookLM, a specialized tool for researchers, along with 2 terabytes of storage on Google Drive and Google Photos.

All Jordanian university students aged 18 and above can register for the free one-year subscription starting from the registration date until December 9th via the following website: [Click Here].
