A total of 74,521 students submitted valid applications and paid the admission fees for unified admission to public universities for the 2025-2026 academic year, with 46,566 students offered places, according to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Ministry’s report on the results of unified admission for bachelor’s degree programmes showed that 27,955 applicants were not offered admission, according to a statement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Unified Admission Coordination Unit sent SMS messages to applicants on Sunday evening, September 21, with their admission results. The full list of admitted students was also published on the unit’s official website, where students can check their results using their national number or General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) seat number. The site also provides the minimum competitive admission scores across all programmes and certificates.

The ministry announced that a special system has been prepared for both admitted students and those not admitted due to a wrong selection, enabling them to submit a new application with up to three choices, provided they meet the minimum admission requirements for the current academic year.

Applications for this process will open on Tuesday, September 23, and will remain available until midnight on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
