
Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection celebrated the graduation of its 13th class, the “Class of Knowledge,” at the Culture Palace in Al-Hussein Youth City.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Director of the Public Security Directorate and Chairman of the Higher Council of the Academy, Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, and was attended by President of the University of Jordan (UJ) Prof. Nathir Obeidat and President of Al-Balqa Applied University Prof. Ahmad Al Ajlouni.
Dean of the Academy Dr. Reda Al Btoush announced the Council of Deans’ decision, after which Maj. Gen. Maaytah presented certificates to the outstanding achievers and graduating students.
The class included Master’s degree holders in Disaster and Crisis Management; Bachelor’s graduates in Mechanical Engineering (Fire and Safety), Disaster and Crisis Management, and Specialised Paramedics; as well as Diploma graduates in Security and Safety, Logistics Support, and Supply Chain Management.
The ceremony was also attended by UJ Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Digital Transformation Prof. Ziad Hawamdeh, along with ambassadors, military attachés from brotherly and friendly countries, faculty members, and the families of the graduates, who shared in the joy of this academic accomplishment.
