​Batoole Hussein Abdullah, a student from the School of Business at the University of Jordan (UJ) and a team player at UJ's volleyball team, captured silver at in the West Asia U20 Women's Beach Volleyball Championship, recently concluded in Qatar.

Abdullah, who was selected to represent Jordan and play as part of the national U20 women's beach volleyball team alongside her teammate, received the silver medal after a series of wins against teams from Yemen, Syria, and Qatar.

The West Asia Beach Volleyball Championship, held from December 1 to December 5, 2024, featured the participation of 16 teams representing eight Arab countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Oman, Iraq, Yemen, and Jordan.
