The Saudi Embassy in Amman, under the generous patronage and direct supervision of the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, gifted the University of Jordan (UJ) a collection of Holy Quran copies translated into twenty-four international languages.

This initiative aims to support Muslim students at the university, as well as international students from around the world, by facilitating the recitation and understanding of the Holy Quran in their native languages. The project also promotes a deeper connection to the Holy Book and reinforces its message of moderation and balance.

The Islamic Cultural Center at UJ expressed its sincere appreciation for this generous initiative, emphasizing that it reflects the strong brotherly ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving Islam, supporting Muslims, and fostering scientific and cultural development in academic communities.

The Center noted that this initiative will further strengthen cooperation between both sides, benefiting students and helping instill noble Islamic values.
