The University of Jordan’s (UJ) School of Agriculture participated in the Health & Clinical Nutrition Conference 2026, organised by NutriWise and attended by academics and specialists in nutrition and public health.
Dean of the School Prof. Hadeel Ghazzawi reviewed recent advances in clinical and therapeutic nutrition, with a focus on genetics-based approaches to athletes’ dietary planning.
Ghazzawi presented a paper titled “Enhancing Muscle Growth by Integrating Genetic Factors into Athletes’ Dietary Planning”, highlighting the growing role of personalised nutrition programmes in supporting sports performance.
She also spotlighted the School’s Higher Diploma in Sport Nutrition, as part of UJ’s efforts to update its academic offerings and train specialists to meet the needs of the sports and public health sectors.
The participation reflects the School’s engagement in specialised scientific forums and its commitment to linking academic research with practical application.
