UJ Celebrates Engineering Graduates on Sixth Day of Graduation Ceremonies

The University of Jordan (UJ) continued its joyful celebrations on Wednesday with the graduation of 1,009 students from the School of Engineering who have completed the requirements for their bachelor's and postgraduate degrees.

The happy moments of this occasion and its significance in the students' academic and professional lives were captured by UJ's cameras, evident in the faces of the graduates and their relatives.

Dean of the School of Engineering, Prof. Munawar Al-Tarakiya Al-Abadi, addressed the graduates, urging them to cherish their school as they embark on their professional journeys. He highlighted the university's impressive global ranking of 368th and the School of Engineering's ranking of 153rd, with several engineering subjects among the top worldwide. He particularly noted the prominence of the Computer and Information Engineering program according to the latest QS ranking.

Al-Abadi congratulated the graduates and their families, expressing the university's pride in its students who uphold its distinguished reputation. He wished them continued success in their academic and professional endeavors, hoping they would remain loyal to their country and its leadership. He awarded certificates to 849 bachelor's degree graduates. Prof. Suhail Haddadin, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, awarded certificates to 159 master's degree graduates and one higher diploma student.
