​The Department of Theatre Arts at the School of Arts and Design, University of Jordan (UJ), recently took part in the celebration of World Theatre Day, observed annually on March 27th.

The celebration, organized by the Ministry of Culture and held under the patronage and presence of Minister of Culture Haifa Najjar, was hosted at the Directorate of Theatre and Visual Arts Square and Osama Al-Mashini Theatre in Jabal Al-Weibdeh.

During the three-day celebration, students from the Department presented three theatrical performances. Notable attendees included the President of the Jordanian Artists Association, Director Mohammad Youssef Al-Abadi, along with a distinguished gathering of actors, artists, and media professionals.
