​The School of Arts at the University of Jordan (UJ) organized a free health day event  as part of its celebrations of Independence Day.

The health day, organized by the Department of Social Work, was inaugurated by the Dean of the School of Arts, Prof. Mohannad Mubaideen, on behalf of UJ president Prof.  Nathir Obeidat. Many different healthcare institutions participated, providing comprehensive health services.

The social work office at the University Hospital, Arab Revolt Club, and Community Police all participated in the health day. They delivered educational lectures on the dangers of drugs.

Moreover, Eye Specialty Hospital provided various eye-related examinations; while Bio Foot Medical Center offered foot examination services and the Nutrition Experts Center provided nutritional consultations.

Furthermore, the Hearing and Speech Clinic at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the university offered hearing and speech examination services. Whereas, the Healthcare Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs conducted heart examinations, vital signs assessments, and diabetes screenings.
