​The University of Jordan (UJ) and the Arab Revolt Club on Wednesday marked the 56th Anniversary of Al Karamah Battle in a ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The ceremony included addresses by UJ presidents Prof. Nathir Obeidat, Arab Revolt Club president Prof. Nayef Al Abdaallat, and Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Safwan Al-Shayab, confirming the values and meaning of this victory and the importance of marking this renewed day.

At the end of the ceremony, Obeidat placed a wreath of flowers at the Martyrs' Monument in the Al Karamah Square inside the University of Jordan, which was established in 2008 in memory of the martyrs of the battle.
