The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Nathir Obeidat, on Sunday, met with the Director General of the Royal Jordanian Air Academy, Dr. Mohammad Al-Khawaldeh, to discuss the possibility of establishing a joint bachelor's program in aircraft engineering and maintenance.
During the meeting, Obeidat expressed UJ's willingness to collaborate with the Air Academy by exploring and studying the possibility of creating this program. This program would provide students with a university degree that prepares them as trained technical personnel in aircraft engineering and maintenance.
Al-Khawaldeh displayed the academy's interest and desire to establish this collaboration with the University, which would enable the academy to expand student admissions and award university degrees in aircraft engineering and maintenance.
The meeting, attended by Vice President for Scientific Schools, Prof. Ashraf Abu Karky and Dean of the School of Engineering Prof. Menwer Al-Tarawneh, concluded with an agreement to form a joint committee to study and develop a comprehensive framework for this collaboration.
