The University of Jordan President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, extended his greetings on the occasion of Isra and Mi’raj (the Night Journey and Ascension), on behalf of the University community, including faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
He said the occasion embodies enduring values of faith, patience, and steadfastness, and continues to inspire hope and spiritual strength across generations.
Obeidat added that Isra and Mi’raj is a defining moment in Islamic history, with a message of mercy, tolerance, and peace, reaffirming shared human values of coexistence, compassion, and mutual respect.
He concluded by praying that Allah Almighty may return this blessed occasion to Jordan, its leadership and people, and to the Arab and Islamic nations with goodness and blessings, and that the Kingdom may continue to enjoy lasting security and stability.
