The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Nathir Obeidat conducted an inspection tour of Jordan University Hospital (JUH) to review service performance and follow up on ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of care.
During the visit, Obeidat toured the Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department and several key facilities, meeting with patients and visitors and listening to their feedback firsthand. He encouraged relevant teams to address any challenges affecting service users, streamline workflow, and further strengthen overall service delivery.
Obeidat also emphasized the importance of maintaining high readiness levels in A&E amid current weather conditions, underscoring the need to ensure safe, uninterrupted medical care.
He reviewed JUH’s infrastructure development plans and inspected progress on ongoing construction and upgrade works, highlighting the importance of prompt implementation and full compliance with approved timelines to ensure a safe and optimal treatment environment.
At the conclusion of the tour, Obeidat reaffirmed JUH’s role as a leading national medical and teaching institution, noting that UJ will continue to support comprehensive development plans and advance health services in line with the highest medical standards, in the best interests of patients and all hospital visitors.
