ACEN Appoints UJ Professor as Peer International Evaluator for Nursing Bachelors Programs

The American Commission on Education in Nursing (ACEN) has recently appointed Professor Ikhlas Al-Jamal from the School of Nursing at the University of Jordan (UJ) as a Peer International Evaluator for bachelors programs in nursing.

This prestigious selection reflects the acknowledgment of Prof. Al-Jamal's distinguished expertise and scholarly contributions in the field. Al-Jamal is a recipient of various global and regional research excellence awards underscoring her significant impact on the nursing profession.

Al-Jamal's appointment as an international evaluator holds eminent importance for the School of Nursing. Serving as the second evaluator from the school, she follows in the footsteps of Prof. Latifa Dardas, who was chosen in 2022 to evaluate both bachelors and postgraduate programs in nursing.

This recognition not only affirms academic caliber within the School of Nursing, but also highlights its commitment to maintaining high standards and quality in nursing education.
