UJ Pharmacist Obtains Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialty Certification

Pharmacist Lubaba Azzam Musa from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Jordan (UJ) has earned the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialty Certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), a division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).

Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Prof. Rula Darwish, congratulated Musa on this achievement, which she described as falling within the goals and vision of the School to support its staff and clinical training supervisors in obtaining professional certifications, as this is part of the progress and career development supported by the University.

According to Darwish, applying for the exam requires 7 years of practicing the pharmaceutical profession, with 4 years including clinical pharmaceutical experience in the specialty of infectious diseases.

In turn, Musa expressed her appreciation to UJ and the School for the continuous support they provide to its faculty, contributing to their continuous practical development and progress.
