​Under the patronage of the University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, the Language Center at the university held a Ramadan Iftar for international students studying at the center.

250 male and female students from 20 countries participated in the iftar.

This Iftar ceremony, which was attended on behalf of UJ president by the Vice President for Humanities Schools, Prof. Salameh Al-Naimat, aims at introducing non-Muslim students to Islamic traditions and share Islamic culture with them.

Director of the Center, Prof. Sami Ababneh, said that such activities contribute to the integration of international students into the local community in Jordan, and introduce them to its well-known customs and traditions, and food, in addition to promoting teachers-students relationship.
