UJ Congratulates Teachers on World Teachers' Day

On the occasion of World Teachers' Day, which falls Saturday, the University of Jordan (UJ) president, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, extended his congratulations, on behalf of himself and the university community, to all teachers in Jordan.

Obeidat emphasized that teachers carry a noble message, serving as a source of pride, inspiration, and sacrifice. "On this day, we stand in respect and admiration for those who shape generations. Thank you to everyone who planted seeds from which we reap the fruits daily," he added.

Obeidat also highlighted the great message and efforts of teachers in promoting knowledge, progress, and their role in the development of societies. He congratulated the teachers and staff of the University of Jordan’s school, who are distinguished by their expertise and academic competence in preparing the leaders of the future.

World Teachers' Day, October 5th, is designated by UNESCO as the annual date to celebrate teachers.
