The Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan (UJ) signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Government Communication to conduct public opinion polls, studies, and research in the fields of media and communication.
The agreement was signed on behalf of UJ by CSS Director, Prof. Hasan Al Momani, and on behalf of the ministry by its Secretary-General, Dr. Zaid Al Nawaiseh.
The agreement aims to conduct analytical and survey-based studies that contribute to understanding the reality of media and communication in Jordan, examining the role of national media institutions, and exploring the relationship with the public and ways to enhance it.
Al Momani emphasized that the agreement reflects the vital role played by the Center as one of the leading research institutions in the Levant, especially in conducting public opinion polls and scientific studies related to public affairs.
He added that cooperation with the Ministry of Government Communications aligns with the core mission of the Center and enhances its contribution to supporting knowledge-based decision-making.
It is worth noting that the Center, established in 1983, specializes in conducting studies and research on international relations, security, and conflict, in addition to political, economic, and social issues related to Jordan and the Arab world. It also organizes seminars and public opinion polls to provide researchers and decision-makers with accurate information.
