UJ Wins First Place in 7th International SIPHA Clinical Skills Competition

A team from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Jordan (UJ) secured first place in the SIPHA Clinical Skills Competition 2025, in its seventh edition, beating 39 participating Arab teams. The competition was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the annual scientific conference of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society.

The winning team included Dr. Rima Hajazine, Dr. Ahmad Al-Mousa, Dr. Lubabah Azzam, Dr. Maysam Abo-Raqeeq, and students Wisam Shalabaya, Marya Qusai, and Sarah Najeeb.

The competition witnessed the participation of 39 universities from Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries. It consisted of three competitive stages focusing on clinical pharmacy skills. Despite the intense competition, UJ’s team successfully advanced through all stages and achieved first place with distinction.

The School of Pharmacy, represented by its Dean, Prof. Rula Darwish, extends its deep gratitude to the Arab Drug Store (Shocair group) for its continuous support of students and the faculty, contributing to an enriched academic and practical environment for pharmacy students.

This accomplishment aligns with UJ’s commitment to enhancing students' skills and employability. It also reflects the faculty’s vision of nurturing distinguished students and showcasing their achievements. The school, represented by Darwish and its academic and administrative staff, congratulates the winning team and takes pride in its outstanding students.
