UJ and HTU Sign MoU to Collaborate on HTUX.ORG Initiatives

The University of Jordan (UJ) and Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the initiatives of the HTUX.ORG platform, a pioneering digital learning platform offering innovative and accelerated educational pathways.
The MoU was signed by UJ President Prof. Nadhir Obaidat and HTU President Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Hanti, in the presence of vice presidents, directors of relevant departments, and representatives from both universities.
Under the agreement, UJ takes advantage of initiatives established by the HTUX.ORG platform, the first platform of its kind in the Arab world, developed by the HTU Digital Learning Center.
The platform includes the "Growth" initiative, which offers 4,000 free opportunities for Jordanian youth, including final-year university students and graduates, to create positive growth and change in their careers through accelerated learning pathways that do not exceed six months.
The opportunities offered by the platform are competitive, granted primarily based on priority to students who show clear dedication and interest in achieving positive professional outcomes through the "Growth" opportunities, and exclusive advancement for the first 4,000 participants who complete the full educational pathways within six months.
According to the memorandum, both parties will organise sessions, events, and awareness campaigns regarding the HTUX.ORG platform’s initiatives for final-year students and graduates. They will also facilitate access, joining, benefiting from, and completing the program for the largest possible number of students, aiming to create positive growth and change in their career paths.
During the signing ceremony, Obeidat said that UJ seeks to broaden career opportunities for its students, preparing them for the job market and enhancing their competitiveness locally and globally, which can be accomplished through career readiness programs and partnerships that enhance their access to the job market.
On his part, Al-Hanti emphasized that HTU strives to offer advanced, well-designed education that equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their fields. The university is committed to contributing to the development of innovation in Jordan and the region and is focused on preparing graduates for the ever-changing dynamic industrial sector.
It is worth noting that the "Growth" initiative is one of the initiatives of the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation, launched at the end of last year in Jordan, Tunisia, and Lebanon. In Jordan, it is implemented by the HTUX.ORG platform in partnership with the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation and the Crown Prince Foundation.
