The University of Jordan (UJ) Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Ziad Al Hawamdeh, recognized students who participated in the Jordanian Collegiate Programming Contest (JCPC).
This recognition followed the “Entrepreneurship Hackathon,” organized by the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, where UJ students excelled, participating in ten student teams.
Two of these teams qualified for the Arab competition from among 116 teams from various Jordanian universities, representing both UJ and Jordan. The team that placed second includes Ahmed Nasr from the School of Medicine, Yazan Abdullah from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, and Mohammad Saad from the School of Engineering.
The team that placed seventh includes Malik Al-Saudi, Saleh Al-Kannani, and Laith Al-Nuaimi, all from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology.
The students demonstrated exceptional skills, teamwork, and dedication. The University also expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the team coach, Dr. Abd Al-Baset Assaf, from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology.
This experience reflects UJ's commitment to excellence in nurturing talents and promoting innovation in the field of information technology. The University congratulates the students on their hard work and looks forward to their continued success in the upcoming Arab Programming Competition.
