The University of Jordan (UJ) Vice President for Humanities Schools Prof. Nahed Emaish, discussed prospects for joint cooperation in educational sciences between the two universities with a delegation from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, headed by Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Ahmad Zabidi bin Abdul Razak.
In presence of the Dean of the School of Educational Sciences Mohammad Sayel Al-Zyoud, and Director of the International Affairs Unit, Prof. Sameh Al-Zubaidi, both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as student exchange, lecturer and external examiner exchanges, and the development of joint research projects aimed at improving the quality of education and learning, particularly in Arabic language education and Islamic studies.
During the meeting, Emaish expressed the university’s interest in strengthening its academic ties with Malaysian universities, particularly the University of Malaya, emphasizing the importance of building impactful academic partnerships of benefit to both sides.
In turn, Abdul Razak expressed the University of Malaya’s eagerness to establish academic cooperation with UJ, recognizing its distinguished academic standing in the region.
The delegation also visited the School of Educational Sciences, where they toured the facilities, learned about the academic programs offered and reviewed key achievements in education and training.
