​The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, met today with a delegation from An-Najah National University, represented by the Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof. Fares Abu Shamaa.

The two parties discussed potential avenues for mutual cooperation in the areas of clinical training, higher specialization, and scholarships for master's and doctoral degrees in the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Rehabilitation Sciences, and the School of Public Health.

The delegation, in turn, expressed their admiration for the university's continuous progress in research and its advancements in global rankings.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice President for Scientific Schools, Prof. Ashraf Abu Karaki, and the Director of the International Affairs Unit, Dr. Sameh Al-Zubaidi.
