Graduation is a time when students bid farewell to one phase of their lives to welcome another, preparing themselves to face life with its joys and challenges and contribute to its journey.
During the 59th graduation ceremony of the University of Jordan's "Silver Jubilee Cohort," graduates from the School of Business, the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II School of Political Science and International Studies, and the Center for Women's Studies put on their graduation robes and marched to receive their university degrees, celebrating one of the most beautiful moments of their lives.
Dean of the School of Business Prof. Raed Masadeh Bani Yaseen celebrated the graduation of the 59th batch of students, marking the significant achievements of the Jordanian state and the University over the past 25 years. He highlighted the school's receipt of international accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for all its programs, making it the first public university in Jordan to achieve this. The accreditation recognizes the excellence of the school's programs and their prestigious status locally, regionally, and globally, with the business specializations ranked among the top 300 worldwide according to QS World University Rankings.
Dean of the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II School of Political Science and International Studies Prof. Hassan Al Momani encouraged graduates to continue the legacy of those who came before them and to be role models for future generations. He urged them to honor their homeland and parents, and to remain loyal to national leadership. Emphasizing the Jordanian tradition of activity, ethics, and persistence, he encouraged the graduates to seek modernity and knowledge as their goals.
Al Momani acknowledged that life outside the university would deepen their knowledge and enrich their experience. Congratulating the graduates and their families, he appreciated their commitments and efforts in reaching this milestone, wishing them success and progress.
During the ceremony, 819 students from the School of Business received their graduation certificates, including 700 bachelor's degree holders, 116 master's degree holders, and 3 diploma holders.
