Fourth Day of Graduation Ceremonies Sees Law, Science, and Sport Science Students Handed Graduation Certificates

The results of excellence, dedication, and hard work continue to manifest on the graduation ceremonies of the fifty-ninth cohort of students, "the Silver Jubilee Cohort". UJ is adorned in its most splendid form, thanks to the efforts and direct attention from the university's administration and the diligent staffs who worked day and night tirelessly to ensure the graduation is outstanding.

The ceremonies have a different taste this year, coinciding with the nation's celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II's ascension to constitutional powers, and achieving unprecedented position in global rankings; 368th world wide according to QS World University Rankings.

The fourth day graduated a cohort of students from the Schools of Science, Sport Sciences, and Law. A total of 901 students received their certificates from the three schools, having completed the requirements for their bachelor's and postgraduate degrees.

Dean of the School of Science, Prof. Mahmoud Jaghoub, highlighted the transition from a successful academic phase to the beginning of professional life, where graduates will serve the nation under King Abdullah II's leadership. He emphasized their roles as ambassadors of the university and Jordan, confident in their ability to uphold its reputation. Jaghoub praised UJ graduates' achievements, noting their significant contributions in various fields and the full scholarships many have received from prestigious universities. He confirmed that UJ supports top students in pursuing postgraduate studies, aiming to maintain its excellence and progress.

Dean of the School of Sport Science, Prof. Hassan Al-Saud, praised the graduation of knowledgeable, hopeful, and determined young people. He highlighted the school's efforts to enhance athletic training through sports sciences, launching new specializations like a higher diploma in sports nutrition and a master's in movement sciences and training. He announced a new higher diploma program in partnership with the Jordan Olympic Committee, set to begin in the next academic year, aiming to equip graduates with high-level skills for working with elite athletes and in health sports centers.

Dean of the School of Law, Prof. Basem Melhem, emphasized the university's ongoing efforts to develop educational curricula and enhance teaching staff skills, aiming to build a better future. Addressing graduates, Melhem highlighted their role as the guardians of justice, urging them to favor truth over falsehood and uphold justice.
