The University of Jordan (UJ) continued, on Saturday, for the second consecutive day, its celebrations by graduating a new cohort of students from the School of Educational Sciences, totaling 660 students of various academic degrees.
Dean of the School, Prof. Mohammad Sayel Al-Zyoud, welcomed the graduates to a joyful evening marking a new stage in their lives. He highlighted the significance of graduation from UJ, a distinguished institution that has prepared and empowered students to contribute to the nation's future under the Hashemite leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
Al-Zyoud emphasized that this day signifies the end of the students' preparation and empowerment phase, recognizing their hard work and commitment. He noted that the University and the School celebrate the "Silver Jubilee Cohort," aligning with the nation's achievements over the past 25 years under His Majesty the King's reign.
Speaking to the students, Al-Zyoud praised the distinctive university life they experienced at UJ, which refined their characters and prepared them for future challenges. He encouraged them to be the best ambassadors for the university, carrying its noble values and maintaining its reputation, stressing the importance of continuous learning and striving for excellence in their professional journeys.
Al-Zyoud expressed gratitude to the university administration, faculty, and students' families for their support and dedication, highlighting the School's high global ranking as a source of pride. He concluded by congratulating the graduates and wishing them success and excellence in their careers.
Al-Zyoud awarded graduation certificates to 449 students in the bachelor's degree and 24 students in the professional diploma, whereas Prof. Suhail Haddadin, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, awarded certificates to 187 master's degree students.
It is noted that the graduation ceremonies are broadcast live on the official website of the University of Jordan, www.ju.edu.jo, and a collection of photos of the graduates will be published on the university's official social media pages as they are taken.
