The University of Jordan (UJ) School of Nursing held presentations for nursing students’ graduation projects as part of the Employability Readiness course, attended by Dean of the School of Nursing Prof. Areej Othman, department heads, and faculty members.

The projects focused on evidence-based nursing protocols designed to promote safe and standardized clinical practice and to enhance the quality of care in healthcare settings.

Students presented protocols addressing key priority areas in nursing practice, including a sleep-quality improvement program for critically ill patients, clinical guidance for managing post-operative complications, measures to reduce and prevent patient falls, and a protocol aimed at improving hand-hygiene compliance in emergency departments.

The evaluation committee engaged in discussions with students on the presented projects. Director of Nursing at Jordan University Hospital (JUH) Suleiman Al-Rabab’ah commended the students’ work, highlighting their ability to develop practical, evidence-based solutions and communicate them effectively, reflecting the competencies strengthened through the Employability Readiness course.

At the conclusion of the event, the evaluation committee, comprising Dr. Omayah Nassar, Dr. Amer Hasanien, and Dr. Waddah D’emeh, reviewed the projects and issued final grades.
