The University of Jordan (UJ) has launched a new research group titled “Innovative Approaches in Nursing Care Management and Delivery,” bringing together leading local and international academics and experts in nursing management and artificial intelligence. The initiative aims to foster innovation in nursing practices and enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, while contributing to the advancement of nursing education worldwide.
The group includes Dr. Abdullah Algunmeeyn, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Hussami, Dr. Mamdouh El-Huneiti, Dr. Waddah D’emeh, and Dr. Ali Saleh from UJ’s School of Nursing; Dr. Mohammad Alsharaiah from the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology; and Prof. Hani Nawafleh, President of the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC). International collaborators include Dr. Yakubu Salifu from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and Prof. Kristina Rosengren from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, alongside Ms. Farah Qtaishat, a graduate student at UJ’s School of Nursing.
The group aims to develop digital health integration models, promote evidence-based nursing education, and strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation across healthcare sectors. The initiative underscores UJ’s steadfast commitment to advancing research, innovation, and the nursing profession as a cornerstone of healthcare quality and excellence.
