University of Jordan President Follows Up on the Educational Content Digitization Project

The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, reviewed the progress of the Educational Content Digitization Project during his visit to the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. The visit was attended by several vice presidents, directors, and heads of academic centers and units.

Obeidat reaffirmed UJ’s commitment to transforming academic materials into professionally designed digital content as part of the university’s comprehensive strategy to modernize higher education and keep pace with global advancements in educational technology.

He explained that the project seeks to convert curricula into interactive digital platforms that enrich students’ learning experiences and enhance faculty performance while maintaining the central role of educators in the teaching process.

Commending the Center’s team for their efforts, the president emphasized the importance of adhering to international quality standards in the development of digital content. He also reviewed recent updates to the university’s e-learning platform and directed further technical enhancements to strengthen its effectiveness in supporting teaching and learning.
