The University of Jordan’s (UJ) School of Tourism and Hospitality Professors Ibrahim Al-Kurdi and Maysoon Al-Nahar were honored with the Distinguished Researcher Award during the International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Heritage, hosted by the University of Ha’il, Saudi Arabia.
The award was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Ha’il Region, in recognition of the scholars’ outstanding research contributions to the advancement of sustainable tourism and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Expressing their gratitude, both professors emphasized that the honor represents not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the University of Jordan’s growing global reputation for academic excellence and impactful research. They reaffirmed their dedication to advancing scholarship in sustainable tourism and to strengthening the university’s international presence through innovation and collaboration.
