Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) Chief Yousef Issawi today conveyed to the President of the University of Jordan (UJ), Prof. Nathir Obeidat, the heartfelt congratulations of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on the university’s historic advancement to 324th place globally in the QS World University Rankings.

During a phone call, Issawi commended the efforts of the university’s faculty, administrative staff, and students, describing the achievement as a reflection of the institution’s longstanding commitment to academic and research excellence. He noted that this milestone further cements UJ’s standing among the world’s top universities and underscores the growing reputation of Jordanian higher education on the international stage.

Obeidat expressed deep gratitude for the Royal gesture, describing the continued Royal support as a source of national pride and a driving force behind the university’s academic progress. He reaffirmed UJ’s dedication to fulfilling the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II and honouring the legacy of the late King Hussein bin Talal, who founded the university as a beacon of knowledge and a destination for aspiring Arab youth.

Odeidat pledged to convey the king and crown prince’s message of pride to all university schools, students, and staff in appreciation of their efforts and to encourage continued advancement, particularly as the university prepares to celebrate the graduation of its 60th cohort.
