The University of Jordan (UJ) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Curtin University in Australia, aimed at enhancing academic cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed on behalf of UJ by its president, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, and on behalf of Curtin University by its Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global, Dr. Xiaotian Zhang.
The agreement establishes a framework for partnership and mutual collaboration, particularly in the fields of joint research, expertise exchange, and in sustainability and green technology through workshops and programs designed to build the capacity of UJ students and staff.
The MoU also includes academic exchange visits for faculty members and the organization of student visits from Curtin University to UJ
This agreement aligns with UJ’s vision to enhance its global academic standing and benefit from partnerships with internationally ranked universities. Curtin University is a leading institution in Australia, ranked 174th globally in the QS World University Rankings for 2025.
