A large crowd gathered at the Al-Hassan Bin Talal Hall in the University of Jordan (UJ) to honor the late King Hussein’s legacy.
The event, titled "A Strong Jordan: From Hussein’s Legacy to Abdullah II’s Efforts," celebrated the achievements of King Hussein in modernizing Jordan, supporting Palestine, and fostering unity between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples.
Under the patronage of UJ President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat and attended by notable figures including former Prime Minister Abdul Raouf Al-Rawabdeh, the event featured speeches, poetry, music, and exhibitions showcasing King Hussein’s life and contributions.
The program also included artistic performances and a student art exhibition portraying Jordan’s heritage, culminating in a tour of a mini royal car exhibit symbolizing the late King’s enduring presence.
