King Abdullah II School of Information Technology Renews ABET International Accreditation

​The Computer Science and Information Technology programs at the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan (UJ) have renewed international accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

This achievement was marked by the programs receiving the highest accreditation period of 6 consecutive years, along with the Computer Information Systems Department receiving accreditation for two years.

This achievement is the culmination of the school’s dedicated efforts and the strong support it received from the university's administration. ABET accreditation is recognized globally as a quality standard for engineering and technology programs, ensuring that graduates possess the skills and knowledge necessary to keep pace with rapid technological advancements in the job market.

This accreditation also enhances the University's standing both regionally and internationally, attracting outstanding students from around the world.

On this occasion, Dean of the school, along with the faculty and administrative staff, extended their heartfelt thanks to the University administration for its continuous support and follow-up on the school's programs, and ongoing efforts to develop and update these programs in accordance with international standards.
