The University of Nizwa in Oman hosted the 26th Arab Students’ Innovation and Creativity Forum, organized by the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity (ACTSC), under the theme “Opportunities and Challenges Facing Educational Institutions amid Technological Developments.” The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Vice Chairperson of the State Council Sheikh Dr. Hilal Ali Zahir Al Hinai.
The forum brought together representatives from 36 Arab universities across nine countries, showcasing 60 student-led research and innovation projects. Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Nizwa and Member of the ACTSC Executive Committee Dr. Saleh Al Azri emphasized the forum’s role in nurturing talent and fostering cultural and academic exchange across the Arab world.
Director of the Arab Council for Student Training and Creativity Prof. Fawaz Al Zghoul stressed that rapid technological change is reshaping education, urging universities to adapt to evolving job markets while addressing challenges in digital infrastructure and faculty development.
The forum concluded with interactive sessions and collaborative activities that reaffirmed the collective commitment of Arab universities to fostering innovation and advancing education across the region.
