As part of the activities leading up to the Second Honorary Professors' Forum, the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Jordan (UJ) hosted Honorary Professor Ali Al-Diabat in a specialized scientific lecture titled: "Modern Industrial Engineering and Future Trends."

The lecture was attended by the Dean of the School of Engineering, Prof. Menwer Attarakih, along with his deputies and assistants, as well as a number of faculty members and students from the Department. The event also welcomed participants from other departments, including Civil Engineering.

In his talk, Al-Dhiabat highlighted key emerging trends in industrial engineering research, drawing on his extensive academic and research background. The session featured dynamic discussions and notable engagement from the audience.

Professor Al-Dhiabat holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in the United States and currently holds the position of professor at New York University – Abu Dhabi. He has an impressive academic portfolio that includes nearly 200 published papers in leading international journals and conferences.

At the conclusion of the session, the Department of Industrial Engineering extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Al-Dhiabat for his valuable contribution and the enriching knowledge he shared with faculty and students alike.
