The University of Jordan (UJ) Vice President, Prof. Ashraf Abu Karaki, discussed avenues and mechanisms for cooperation with the Vice President of Southern Medical University in China.
During the meeting, attended by deans of medical schools and several officials from Southern Medical University, the two sides discussed ways to enhance scientific and academic partnership, establish joint scientific and research projects, and support student exchange programs.
Abu Karaki also met with several academics and experts in the field of dentistry from East and South Asia on the sidelines of his participation in the Silk Road Exhibition and Conference on Dental Equipment and Technologies, including the Director of the Institute of Science and Technology in Guangzhou, China.
The meetings conducted Abu Karaki during his visit to China aimed to expand the base of international cooperation and UJ's international partners, opening scientific and research horizons and strengthening the university's position among its global counterparts.
