​The School of Business at the University of Jordan (UJ) actively participated in the 8th Jordanian Businessmen and Investors Abroad Conference, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah this week.

The event was organized by the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) in collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Investment.

Students from the School's Department of Economics and Department of Finance, accompanied by Dr. Raad Mahmoud Al-Tal, the Chairman of the Department of Economics, played an active role in the proceedings.

Dean of the School, Professor Ra'ed Masa'deh, emphasized the significance of granting students the opportunity to engage in such conferences and discussions, which bring together decision-makers and representatives from both the public and private sectors. He noted that this participation contributes significantly to enhancing students' understanding of local and international economic issues.

Dr. Al-Tal underscored the importance of students' active involvement in these dialogues, emphasizing their role in advancing the scholarly and conceptual aspects of economic matters, both at the local and regional levels.
